Mistakes are made in every kind of industry and sometimes they’re simply
inevitable. In some trades, however, particularly in the services sector, these
mistakes can affect your business negatively for the long-term. Of course
you’re going to make a bad judgment call every now and then. We all do. And
when you do make a mistake, that doesn’t mean that you should beat yourself up
about it. Regret and disappointment never help. What you can do, however, is be
proactive about it and learn from your mistakes.
Ask yourself how you could have avoided the issue or what you can do in
the future to not make the same mistake. Realize when you’ve conducted yourself
in a bad way in front of your clients, or when you’ve misrepresented yourself.
Here are a couple of common mistakes escorts make and how you can watch out for
them:
1. Clients like to get what they see, so give them exactly that. Here’s the scenario: you’ve invested a lot in a professional photographer, make-up artist, hair stylist and expensive lingerie for that once-in-a-lifetime photo shoot you hope is going to propel you to ‘VIP status’.
That’s amazing – but only IF you can pull it off in real life as well.
You can’t look extremely glamorous in your professional photos and appear
trampy in real life. Either advertise the way you usually look/are or adopt the
same style as in your photos. Otherwise all you’re going to get is clients
cancelling your encounter as soon as they see you or never really booking you
again (unless you completely surprise them). The thing is: if you have VIP
rates, you should also provide the VIP experience.
2. Keep your client calls and e-mails short. Some clients will try to get themselves off just by talking on the phone with you or sharing dirty e-mails. If you’re the new escort on the block, you might just give them what they want in the hopes of seeming ‘nice’, but what you’re getting is ripped off. Keep your e-mails and calls short and to the point, and snap any kind of hanky-panky in the bud before the actual encounter.
Of course, when it comes to repeat clients, you can be as kinky as
you want. It’ll be a treat for them to get your attention outside of your
meetings as well and it will make them feel pampered. But again, balance it
out. You don’t want to give them so much pleasure that they don’t book a new
encounter with you.
3. Make sure you get repeat clients. Certainly, a lot of your customers are going to be a one-time thing, but if you’re not getting any or are getting very few repeat clients, it’s time to look at what you’re doing. Were you mean to them or did you rush them? If you’re going over time with your encounter, instead of rushing them, propose you prolong the duration of your encounter. Or, in case you have another meeting lined up, propose you schedule a longer meeting at another time, when you and your client can take advantage of the extra time. Of course, more time means more money, so make sure your client understands this.
Just don’t rush
the encounter – if your clients want to talk, let them. Just do everything you
can to get your client to come back, including offering a pleasant experience
and making sure the place where you receive your client is spotless.
